Rich Johnson, Broker Associate
|
My name is Rich Johnson, and I specialize in representing clients in the purchase and sale of rural homes, ranch, and farm properties throughout the Sacramento Region. I believe California's rural communities are the lifeblood of our great state. I am proud to support these communities that provide our state with such abundant food and natural resources.
I am a Northern California native, and have lived here nearly my entire life. I couldn't imagine living any place else. I grew up in a small dairy town in Humboldt County just minutes from the roaring Pacific Ocean. I graduated from Sonoma State University in 1993 with a Bachelors Degree in Management. Following graduation, I moved to Sacramento to start my professional career. I still live near Sacramento with my beautiful wife and our three wonderful and busy children.
After spending many years involved in the engineering industry, focusing recently on land acquisitions, environmental planning, and permitting of utility-scale renewable energy projects, I went out and got my real estate license and became a Realtor® in 2004. I am a licensed Real Estate Broker in California since 2006, a member of the International Right of Way Association, and National Association of Realtors, and a Candidate Member of the prestigious Realtor’s Land Institute.
I am dedicated to applying my 18 years of professional experience to assist you in achieving your real estate goals. Whether you are selling or buying, I am ready to provide the highest level of service for your real estate needs.

Why Choose a REALTOR® With a GRI designation?
Buying and selling property is a complex and stressful task. In fact, it's often the biggest single investment you will make in your lifetime. At the same time, real estate transactions have become increasingly complicated.
New technology, laws, procedures and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers require real estate practitioners to perform at an ever-increasing level of professionalism.
So it's more important than ever that you work with an agent who has a keen understanding of the real estate business. The GRI program has helped the best and the brightest in the industry achieve that level of understanding.
GRIs are:
• Nationally recognized as top performers in the real estate industry

A GRI can make a difference

Don't you deserve the best?
Qualifications
• Honest. I like to present you as the buyer or seller, with the facts. Straightforward.
• Dependable. I like to return your phone call or email as quickly as I can. Same day. You have questions you need answered, today, not next week.
• Listening Expert. Nothing is more frustrating than explaining to someone your needs, and them talking over you, or not understanding your point. You are special to me and I will listen.
• Research Expert. You may have questions I do not know the answer to, someone will. It is my job to find the right answer for you. I have the tools and teammates available, day or night.
Expertise
• Military Moves. Relocation. Certified Military Markets Specialist. After serving in the military for over 21 years, I feel I am the expert in the military market. Been there, done that. Over and over...
• New Home Construction sales. I was a lead superintendent for a major nationally recognized home builder for more than 3 years. There is a difference buying in the New Home market, starting at the ground up. Literally.
• Short Sales/REOs. To be familiar with the short sale market, one has to have experienced it for themselves. Unfortunately, I HAVE... I feel this puts me in the position to be able to negotiate with the banks, knowing what is involved first hand. It is key to maintain relationships with the lender, to ensure a proper transaction is completed and closed.
• OR….Just moving across town? Let’s see what we can do together!
